Flutter By, Butterfly

It was not my intention to chase insects through the garden like a crazed lunatic while the neighbors tried politely not to stare.

But I did.

These beauties were fast– only landing on each flower for about a second or two before fluttering high into the air and landing on another a few feet away.

Settling down in the wicker rocking chair with a book and a glass of lemonade can wait. For now, there are dreams to chase…
