M and I were outside with Mr. Tucker (who loves the snow) when we saw this in the background. An accident in the intersection?

No, just a big 4-wheel-drive truck doing a favor for a car that’s otherwise useless in the snow.

It’s blustery, and cold today. Shoveling is a Sisyphean effort; you shovel a path down the front walk only to turn around and find that you need to shovel a path to get back inside.

Blizzards are so much more pleasant when viewed through a thick, well-insulated pane of glass. Preferably while sipping hot cocoa and making a big pot of soup as I did.  The soup was delicious. We shared it with our elderly neighbor, Ollie, who informed M when it came to the snow “We ain’t seen nothin’ yet!”
